Le tissu de matières, de choses, d’êtres et de signes des collectifs paludicoles de Basse-Loire

Abstract : To the west of the Loire-Atlantique Department, the Loire river ends its course in a large mouth between the cities of Nantes and Saint-Nazaire. The floodplain is composed of many wetlands, including the Brivet river drainage basin and the North-side Loire’s marshes. This area is subject to the constraints of the river, sediment flows and tides. It is the habitat of living organisms that settle there for all or part of their life cycle. It is also rich in the diversity of wetland activities and actors present. The research presented is inspired by a symmetrical anthropology that leaves space for non-humans: other living beings and technical allies are constitutive of the social being created. It is the modalities of exchange of signs and matter that attach together men, beasts, plants and things that we are trying to grasp. A research notebook is published at https://humanpalud.hypotheses.org/.
