Digital Front-end based on the ADPW iterative algorithm for channel selection with the use of random sampling in software radio context

Résumé

In this article, we propose a new structure of the digital front-end (DFE) based on the iterative algorithm ADPW (Adaptive Weights Method) for the channel selection (CS). The application is made in the context of a software radio system and using a random sampling method to perform sample rate conversion (SRC). The performance in terms of the quality of the reconstructed channel, and in terms of the complexity will be evaluated and compared to those of the SVD direct algorithm and then to those of the structure based on the average CIC filter for channel selection to show the interest of the proposed structure.
