Performance of Linear Equalizers for OFDM System with Reception Diversity over Doubly Selective Channels

Résumé

We consider the wireless OFDM communications over doubly selective channels as occurring e.g. in high-mobility or underwater scenarios. Here, intercarrier interference (ICI) is the major source of impairment that limits the transmission quality. In this paper, we analyze the signal-to-interference-plus-noise ratio (SINR) and thereby the symbol/bit error ratio (SER/BER) of the system with reception diversity. Numerical computation and simulations illustrate of the analytical results.
