La nage chez les cercopithèques arboricoles

Abstract : The attraction for water and swimming abilities of two species of forest Cercopithecines, the Brazza Monkey and the Talapoin, have been studied in N. E. Gaboon. Not only these two monkeys can escape a potential predator by swimming, but the young indi viduals are spontaneously attracted by standing water and appa rently enjoy playing in it.
