Radiation Pattern Synthesis for Monopuise Radar Applications using a Reconfigurable Transmitarray in X-Band

Résumé

In this contribution, we investigate the synthesis of E- and A-patterns with a reconfigurable X-band transmitarray antenna for monopulse radar applications. The reconfigurable transmitarray is composed of 400 active linearly-polarized unit cells with 1-bit (0 /180) phase -shifting capability. The L- and A patterns are demonstrated numerically in different planes and for different beam directions, showing promising performances in terms of gain, side-lobe level and null depth.
