CD95 Stimulation with CD95L and DISC Analysis

Abstract : CD95 and its ligand CD95L play a major role in immune surveillance and homeostasis. CD95L is expressed by activated T lymphocytes and NK cells to induce apoptosis in cancer and virus-infected cells. The goal of this chapter is to describe a method used to immunoprecipitate CD95 and analyze its associated protein complex in cells stimulated with a cytotoxic CD95L (i.e., Ig-CD95L).
