A Cavity-Shaped Diphosphane Displaying " Oschelating " Behavior**

Abstract : A molecular balance wheel: Transition metals form β-cyclodextrin-derived diphosphane chelate complexes (picture: ligand structure) in which a fast oscillatory motion about the metal ion takes place (“oschelating behavior”). The observed movement occurs without dissociation of the metal–phosphorus bond.
