Synthesis, Spectroelectrochemical Behavior, and Chiroptical Switching of Tris(β-diketonato) Complexes of Ruthenium(III), Chromium(III), and Cobalt(III)

Abstract : The paper reports the synthesis, optical resolution, characterization, spectroelectrochemical behavior, and unprecedented chiroptical switching along with time-dependent density functional theory analysis of tris(β-diketonato) complexes of ruthenium(III), chromium(III), and cobalt(III) involving 3-butyl- or 3-octyl-substituted 2,4-dionato moieties.
