Fluoride anion is present all around the world in groundwater, mainly in countries where safe water is scarce. Since fluoride is harmful the defluoridation of water is very important. This concluding chapter suggests recommendations for further researches in defluoridation and for the development of defluoridation processes. © Springer International Publishing Switzerland 2016.
