Mid-infrared supercontinuum generation from cascaded soft-glass fibers

Abstract : We demonstrate the first experimental wavelength broadening of mid-infrared supercontinuum from a ZBLAN fiber in an arsenide selenide fiber. The input spectrum, limited at 4 μm, was extended to 4.9 μm with an average output power of 20 mW. © OSA 2016.
