Plasma antenna design for RCS reduction

Abstract : This paper presents the use of reconfigurable plasma reflector antenna to demonstrate the reduction of the RCS of such antenna by de-activating the plasma (Compact fluorescent lamp). If we compare with a similar reflector antenna using classical metallic elements, the reflectors using plasma antenna elements have the advantage to become more furtive (low signature antenna).
